Wiz is a cloud security platform for identifying and prioritizing cloud risk. Connect your Wiz organization to Oleria to bring user and role access into your identity and access graph.

What Oleria discovers

  • User accounts and profile attributes synced from your Wiz organization.
  • Roles assigned to each user.
Oleria uses this data for dormant account detection and access reviews, refreshed on Oleria’s regular sync schedule.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access in Wiz to create a service account.
  • Admin access on the Oleria platform to add a new integration.

Wiz credentials

Wiz authenticates API access with a service account’s client ID and client secret, which are exchanged for short-lived access tokens. Wiz doesn’t issue a static SCIM bearer token.
Oleria’s connection form currently accepts only a static SCIM bearer token, so you can’t connect Wiz from the form yet. To set up this integration, contact us at support@oleria.com.

Contact us at support@oleria.com to connect Wiz. We’ll walk you through creating the client credentials Oleria needs.

Verify the integration

Confirm the new instance appears on the Connected tab of your Oleria Integrations page with a status of Healthy. Oleria syncs users and roles from Wiz on its regular sync schedule once the initial sync completes.
If you rotate the Wiz credentials Oleria uses, contact us to update the integration.

Remediation actions

Oleria can also take these actions in Wiz when the credentials Oleria uses can update users:
  • Enable or disable a user account
  • Create a new user
Oleria doesn’t check the credentials’ permissions until an action runs. If an action fails, confirm the credentials can update users in Wiz.
