LastPass is a password management platform. Connect your LastPass account to Oleria to bring user and group access into your identity and access graph.

What Oleria discovers

  • User accounts and profile attributes synced from LastPass’s directory.
  • Groups and their memberships.
Oleria uses this data for dormant account detection and access reviews, refreshed on Oleria’s regular sync schedule.

Prerequisites

  • A LastPass Business account. Directory integrations, including SCIM provisioning, are available only in LastPass Business.
  • Admin access to the LastPass Admin Console.
  • Admin access on the Oleria platform to add a new integration.

Get your SCIM credentials from LastPass

LastPass provides its SCIM endpoint through the directory integrations in the Admin Console. For details, see LastPass’s directory integrations documentation.

Open directory integrations in LastPass

Sign in to the LastPass Admin Console at admin.lastpass.com. Select Users in the toolbar, then select Directories in the left navigation.

Generate a provisioning token

Open the SCIM directory integration, generate a provisioning token, and copy the connection URL shown with it:
  • SCIM Base URL - the connection URL LastPass shows with the provisioning token.
  • Authentication Token - the provisioning token.
Copy the token now and store it securely. Rotate it per your organization’s security policy.

Connect LastPass to Oleria

Open the integration

Go to your Oleria workspace, select Integrations, then select the LastPass tile.

Complete the connection form

Fill in the connection form:

Save the integration

Select Connect to validate the credentials and save the integration.

Verify the integration

Confirm the new instance appears on the Connected tab of your Oleria Integrations page with a status of Healthy. Oleria syncs users and groups from LastPass on its regular sync schedule once the initial sync completes.
If you generate a new provisioning token in LastPass, update the Authentication Token in Oleria by editing the integration.

Remediation actions

Oleria can also take these actions in LastPass when the SCIM token can update users and groups:
  • Enable or disable a user account
  • Add or remove a user from a group
  • Create a new user or group
Oleria doesn’t check the token’s permissions until an action runs. If an action fails, confirm the token can update users and groups in LastPass.
